Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Garage Organizing Pros, a division of Emergo Academy Inc., a registered Alberta company. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Scope of Work & Quotes

All services are quoted based on the information provided at the time of the estimate. Quotes are for the specific scope of work discussed. If the customer changes or expands the scope of work after the quote (for example, adding areas or items), Garage Organizing Pros reserves the right to revise the quoted fee. All prices are flat-fee unless otherwise stated and do not include GST (5%), which will be added to the final invoice.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full upon completion of the project. Accepted payment methods are e-transfer or cash only. Credit cards are not accepted at this time.

3. Access, Safety & Home Preparation

The homeowner or an authorized adult must be present during the service unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. For safety and insurance purposes, no minors (children) or pets may be present in or near the garage or driveway area during the project. Clients must ensure the workspace is clear and safe to access before the team’s arrival.

4. Care, Liability & Pre-Existing Conditions

Garage Organizing Pros will exercise reasonable care when handling your belongings. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or other conditions discovered during the job. If items are cracked, unstable, or already damaged, we cannot be held responsible for any worsening of such conditions during handling.

5. Client Property & Valuables

Clients are responsible for securing all valuables, fragile, or sentimental items before the project begins. Garage Organizing Pros is not responsible for loss or damage to property that has not been removed or properly secured by the client.

6. Prohibited or Hazardous Materials

Garage Organizing Pros does not handle or remove hazardous or prohibited materials, including but not limited to chemicals, paint, oil, fuel, cleaning agents, or other dangerous substances. Responsibility for the identification and safe removal of such materials rests solely with the homeowner.

7. Third-Party Products & Warranties

From time to time, we may assemble or install products provided by the client or a third party (e.g., shelving, racks, storage systems). Garage Organizing Pros assumes no warranty, liability, or responsibility for the quality, defects, or future performance of third-party products.

8. Satisfaction & Completion

Any concerns or issues regarding the work performed must be raised on the day of service, while our team is on site. Once the job is completed and our team departs, the project will be considered complete and accepted as delivered.

9. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)

Garage Organizing Pros shall not be held liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, power outages, accidents, illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, services will be rescheduled to the earliest available date.

10. Website & Intellectual Property

All text, images, and design elements on our website are the property of Garage Organizing Pros or its licensors. Our site may use cookies to enhance user experience. By using the site, you consent to the use of cookies consistent with normal web practices.

11. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. Any personal details collected are used solely for communication, quoting, and project coordination.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith discussion or mediation. If unresolved, the matter may be pursued through Alberta Small Claims Court.

13. Changes to Terms

Garage Organizing Pros may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be posted on our website.
